Beauty at its best

In the first week of photography, we were given an assignment to take pictures of anything, but we were given techniques that we discussed in class. While everyone wandered off, I walked toward Leahy House. I then stumbled upon a cherry blossom tree. This was the only tree which had life and color, while the others were just dull and plain. When taking this picture the light of the sky gave a clear view of how the tree actually looked. I also wanted to combine the simplicity of the sky with the nature study to create this picture.

  1. I felt that your picture gave me the perspective of a squirrel or a bird on the tree, looking up. That's what made the photo interesting to me.
