Mural in the Church Window
What we have learned in class are the different photographic elements and different ways of taking pictures. I find this class very fun and different, because it changes your perspective on things. For example, a wall isn't just a wall but something that can be turned into a masterpiece. There is a bad side though it is possible to run out of inspiration and you feel as if you have photographed everything you could. You soon realize its not that you have simply taken a photo of everything but that you have to now change your mindset and look at things differently. For example, I took this photo looking at a regular piece of stained glass. I saw a design I believed could turn out great and it did, it was not a simple matter of I can't use this but what part looks good. It took me a while to get a good enough photo trying to position myself on the stairs to where nothing would interfere in the actual photo itself. So far this class has been fun although tedious at times I find it helps to show that there is art in everything.
