I Pledge Allegiance to the flag........
At first glance, I looked at the flag in the auditorium and said to myself "might as well try to make something work with it." So while staring at the flag thinking of something to do, I thought of what Mr. Scanlan had told me earlier that day which was to change your perspective while taking a picture . So after thinking for a while I took his advice and looked for the right angle and I settled on lying on the floor and zooming in a little bit to fill the frame. While not even thinking twice about it, I took the picture without realizing that it would have came out to be this nice. Taking advice from Mr. Scanlan, I was able to simplify the background and have a great angle that added light to the flag which gave it a bold and courageous look. After seeing this photo, it taught me a lesson that anything can be turned into a work of art. Even when you're bored and you feel as if there is nothing else you could possibly take a picture of, there will almost always be something that can be turned into art.
